Flyball has been going well. Due to change in circumstances both dogs can now enjoy full run of our back yard. The increase in playtime (lots of fetching and running around) has resulted in Sophie losing those last few stubborn pounds.
She is looking lean and sleek again. Also a new joint supplement seems to have restored my rhino to her former crazy self. She has been doing pretty well in flyball, ran close to full time in the last two tournaments which she had not done in about a year.
She helped one of our close friends and teammates earn his 40k. A huge feat as the little guy has been battling cancer. He is a trooper and super energetic so with his Dr's blessing he ran recently and earned his 40k. We celebrated with cookies and cupcakes for the humans…he got a cookie too and a ballon :-)
On another note…I finally got a photo with both of the labbies and myself. Of course there were numerous bloopers and barking but it got done :-)
